MAGEC Moments

Message from the Director…
In light of severe budget cuts, we at MAGEC hope that we can continue to provide you with high quality geriatric professional education. We have been fortunate enough to now have in place a state-of-the-art, live teleconference system. However, recognizing the value of having face-to-face educational programs, we have come up with a new and exciting method. Our Interdisciplinary (now Interprofessional) Geriatric Training (IGT), which in the past occurred over a 3 day period, for a total of 20 CEU’s, will now have one day face-to-face (7 CEU’s) and the remaining 13 hours will be available on line. We will continue with our 3 face-to-face Interprofessional Modules (Nursing, Social Work & Mental Health). In addition we will be providing you with Geriatric Education programs accessible on line (some live and some recorded).

We have very much appreciated your support of MAGEC and hope to continue to meet your needs.
